So sorry it has been a while since my last post. November and December are busy months for us in the lead up to Christmas, with getting everything organised for school next year for my girls, planning their birthday and getting ready for Christmas!
But I did manage to sneak in some time today to create a card for the current MFT Stamps sketch challenge. Here is a look at this week’s sketch:
Keeping pretty much true to the sketch (I just substituted the square for a circle), I created a whimsical card using the Knight in Shining Armor stamp set.
I first started by die cutting my circular frame using the Wonky Stitched Circle Stax dies and then using the negative to create a frame for me to ink blend a circle directly onto my card base before gluing the frame down onto my card base.
I then stamped, coloured and die cut my images for the card, along with die cutting some Stitched Clouds from glitter cardstock. I then arranged all the elements where I wanted them before sticking them down with glue and adhesive foam. I then stamped my sentiment onto a strip of cardstock and also stuck that to my card base using adhesive foam. Finally I embellished the card with some blue enamel dots.
How cute is this stamp set?! I love how you can create some really fun and cute cards for boys, which is definitely out of my comfort zone as I tend to create more girly things, but it’s good have some on hand.
Anyway I better get some things organised for tomorrow but thank you for stopping by tonight!
