Today I’m back with a new Share Joy Challenge for you! This week’s theme is a sketch and/or Tic Tac Toe board.
I chose to play along with both themes for my card today, where I loosely followed the sketch and used the Tic Tac Toe board combination of No Patterned Paper, Gold and Vellum.
My card was really easy to make. I decided to stamp and heat emboss in gold, the snowflakes from the Peek-a-Boo Christmas stamp set, together with a sentiment from the Little Bits of Christmas stamp set onto a small square of plain vellum. To keep my colour theme the same throughout my card, I then die cut the super cute On Dasher, On Dancer die from some gold foil cardstock to stick down to the top of my vellum, creating a fun Christmas scene. Finally, I added a few gold glitter enamel dots to the vellum scene and lightly glued it down to my card base so that the edges would slightly lift off the card base.
This card is going in the mail tonight to some good family friends of ours who have been very supportive of my card making. I can’t wait to see what they think of this card.
I hope you can play along with us this challenge. Next week we are taking a break for Christmas so there won’t be a new challenge up until 31 December. That gives you two weeks to get creating and playing along!
Have a wonderful day.
