Taylored Expressions: Share Joy Challenge #13

Hi Crafty Friends!

I hope you have all had a wonderful week so far and to those in the US, also a Happy Thanksgiving holiday. As we didn’t have a new challenge last week because of the Thanksgiving weekend, it is now finally time for another fun Share Joy Challenge by Taylored Expressions!

This week’s challenge is a sketch and/or colour combo challenge. Here is this week’s challenge graphic:

I chose to play again with the super cute and fun Peek-A-Boo Christmas stamp set for my card. This stamp set is so perfect for creating fun CAS designs. Again this card is going out to someone on my Christmas card list this year. I’ve decided rather than mass producing the same card, I might send everyone something a little different this year!

This card is simple to make so if you wanted to, it’s really great for mass producing. I started off by adding a strip of red glitter cardstock to the left side of my card base before stamping my sentiment onto a piece of Sugar Cube cardstock and sticking it down to my card base using adhesive foam. On some left over cardstock, I stamped the little gingerbread man using Latte ink by Hero Arts. I then fussy cut the gingerbread man out and stuck him just above my sentiment using adhesive foam again, before adding some extra details to him using adhesive rhinestones and pearls. After adding some sequins from the Build A Scene – Christmas sequin mix to my card, I then coloured over my gingerbread man using a clear Wink of Stella glitter pen to add some sparkle.

Here is a better look at his sparkle:

The photos don’t really do the glittery gingerbread man justice though. He looks amazing and sparkly in real life!

I hope you can play along with us this week? Thank you for stopping by and have a wonderful day!
