Wow! Can you believe we are in February now?! December and January was a very busy time for us here so I’m sorry I haven’t been around the blog in a while!
The girls are now in full-time school so I will have more free time to create and share my cards with you all on a much more regular basis! So onto today’s card. With Valentine’s Day just around the corner, I thought it would be fun to create a CAS Valentine’s card using a fun digital image I found from Inkley Studio on Etsy.
The clip art set had some super cute food in love images but I couldn’t resist using the super cute hotdog image, paired with a fun punny sentiment!
What makes this card super CAS and easy to replicate is that I just printed out the image onto some thick white cardstock, which I then cut out electronically using my Silhouette Cameo machine. I then printed out my sentiment onto a panel of cardstock before adhering them all down onto my card base.
To give the image a bit more flair, I coated the lettuce leaves using a clear Wink of Stella glitter pen, and I also coated the cute little hearts with some glossy accents for some shine and dimension. Finally, I just added some adhesive rhinestones to the card for a bit more embellishment.
Don’t these two just go perfectly together?!
See you all soon with another Valentine’s Day creation.
