Hope you are all enjoying your Tuesday so far? This morning I had to run around and do a few errands after getting the girls to kindy, but now I’m in the craft room and hoping to get creating very soon, but before I do that I wanted to share a card with you all that I created over the weekend for the current sketch challenge by MFT Stamps.
Here is this week’s sketch:
For my card I chose to make a sweet birthday card perfect for any little girl, using the adorable Fairy Happy stamp and die sets.
To created the card I started by creating a rectangular mask from some scrap cardstock before positioning that onto my card base and then stamping some flowers, butterflies and hearts from the stamp set, to create a rectangular background in line with the sketch. I then stamped my sentiment just below the stamped flowers etc, and then stamped and coloured my images before die cutting them all out. I then adhered the die cut images to my card using adhesive foam before finally adding some sparkling flower sequins for embellishment.
I also covered the fairy’s wings and the butterflies with clear Wink of Stella glitter so hopefully you can make that out a bit better in the photo below.
I had so much fun creating this sweet card and I hope it inspires you today.
Thanks for stopping by!
