We are just over half way through the week already and before you know it, Christmas day will be here!
Today I’m sharing the first of many Christmas cards I have created over the past few weeks and today’s card was created using the Winter Trees die by MFT Stamps, together with a sentiment from the Yuletide clear stamp set by Kaisercraft.
I created this card by first cutting a panel of silver glitter cardstock, the same size as my base and then adhering it to the card base. Next I cut a smaller panel of white cardstock, before sticking that down onto my card so that the silver glitter paper creates a frame effect around the smaller white panel of cardstock. I then die cut the Winter Trees from pink, blue and green cardstock before lining them up onto my card and sticking them down with adhesive foam and tape adhesive. I stuck every second tree down using adhesive foam to give them some dimension. Next I stamped and heat embossed my sentiment onto a small piece of cardstock using silver glitter embossing powder, before adhering that to my card base again using adhesive foam. Finally I added on some clear sequins for extra embellishment.
I love the non-traditional colours in this card. It was so fun to create something outside of the normal Christmas colours!
Thanks for stopping by today. See you all tomorrow with another Christmas card share!
