I hope you are all having a great week so far? I’m currently in Bright in Victoria on the other side of Australia at a card making retreat with some very nice and super talented card makers! We are having so much fun and creating lots of great cards which I will be sharing with you all soon!
I thought I would quickly pop in and share with you all a birthday card I created for one of my best friends, my cousin Debbie, who had her 40th birthday last week. I wanted to create something sweet and simple for her but also using celebratory colours like silver and gold so I decided on some heat embossed balloons.
I started off by stamping and heat embossing the balloons from the It’s Your Birthday stamp set by Clearly Besotted with gold and silver embossing powder, before die cutting them out and sticking them onto my card base. I then stamped on my sentiment and finished off the card by embellishing it with some silver and gold glitter enamel dots.
I would love to know what you think?
Anyway, I better get back to some more card making, but will be back soon to share those creations with you all.
Have a great night!
So sorry I’ve been a bit MIA from the blog lately! We have spent the past week finally doing our landscaping and putting in our lawn so it has been a tiring week and not a lot of time left for creating.
Anyway, all is back on track now so today I’m sharing a Christmas card with you all that I created.
When I first saw the North Pole Pals set by Avery Elle I knew I just had to get it! The reindeers are soo adorable I just needed to create some Christmas cards with them.
For this card I kept it CAS and created a paper pieced Rudolph jumping over a silver heat embossed scribble. The scribble is from the Circle Scribbles stamp set by Papertrey Ink. I then stamped my sentiment below the scribble before adding some silver snowflake sequins to the card for embellishment.
I seriously love the cute reindeers in this stamp set! Be sure to stop by over the next few days to see some more creations featuring these cuties!
Have a great night!
How was your weekend? We have a 3 day weekend here so today my hubby is looking after the kiddos so I can catch up on some computer and craft work!
We have been busy the past month moving into our new home, but we are finally all unpacked and settled in so I can now get back to regularly sharing cards with you all!
I know Mother’s Day has been and gone, but with the move I ran out of time to share some Mother’s Day cards I created so I will be sharing those with you over the next couple of days. Today’s card is an embossed sentiment card I created using the Stamp & Cut Flowers set by Hero Arts.
I started off by first stamping my sentiment and then heat embossing it using silver glitter heat embossing powder. Next I stamped the flowers and leaves from around the right hand side of the card before stamping another couple of flowers onto some left over cardstock and die cutting them out. Finally I stuck the larger die cut flower onto my using some adhesive foam for dimension, before embellishing the card with some clear droplets by Pretty Pink Posh.
I hope this card has inspired you today? Thank you for stopping by 🙂
Hope your week has been a great one so far? If you know me, then you all know that second to my family, I absolutely LOVE my coffee! I mean with 3-year-old twins, you could even say I actually need it to survive these days! Lol
Since the Coffee Loving Cardmakers Blog has been around I’ve always been a huge fan of their seasonal themed blog hops, so I couldn’t resist playing along with the current Spring Coffee Lover’s Bloghop.
For my card I teamed up Taylored Expression’s fun coffee cup from the Pizza My Heart stamp set, with a sentiment from the Free Spirit stamp set. I stamped the coffee cup and paper pieced them together using soft spring colours from the cute Rainbow Brights paper pack. Before sticking the cups to my card, I heat embossed my sentiment using a green coloured embossing powder. In keeping with my CAS style, I then just added a few matching coloured sequins from the For Peeps’ Sake sequin mix.
I hope you enjoyed my card today. If you leave a comment on this post, I’ll be selecting TWO random winners to win a little package of stamping goodies! I’ll post the winners here on my blog after the hop is over.
Thanks for stopping by today and happy hopping!
How has your weekend been so far? We’ve had a pretty busy one running around sorting out some things for our new home but I think we’ve completed all the major things for now, so it’ll be back to normal for a little bit!
Today I’m popping in to share a card with you all that I created for my sister-in-law’s baby shower (she’s due in a couple of weeks now!), so I wanted to create something special for her.
They don’t know whether it’s a boy or a girl, so I went with a neutral colour scheme and used the cute Precious Mobile die by Memory Box.
I die cut the mobile from some silver glitter cardstock and again from some grey, orange and yellow patterned papers. I then cut the hearts from the patterned paper die cuts and glued them to corresponding hearts on the glitter die cut. I then stuck some adhesive star gems to the stars on the mobile.
Before sticking the mobile down to my card base, I used it as a guide as to where to stamp and heat emboss my sentiment using silver glitter embossing powder. Finally I tied some white satin ribbon to the top of the die cut mobile before sticking it down onto my card using adhesive foam.
I hope she liked it!
Thanks for stopping by today and enjoy what’s left of your weekend!
