How have you all been? Sorry I’ve been MIA lately, my girls started Kindy last week so I have been getting all organised for that and getting into a new routine! I will now have more time to create and post now that they’ll be at school a few days a week so the blog will finally be back to regular postings!
Yesterday, I created a floral thanks card using some beautiful MFT Stamps products for their weekly sketch challenge, but unfortunately ran out of time to get this post up before the deadline, but I’ll share the card with you all anyway. You can see the sketch here.
Using the Modern Blooms set I stamp layered some flowers in orange and peach colours before sticking them to my card base using adhesive foam. I then die cut the Thanks sentiment from some gold foil before sticking it to the top of the flowers and embellishing the card with some clear droplets by Pretty Pink Posh.
This was a super quick and easy CAS card to create and I love the soft colours and how it turned out.
Thanks so much for taking the time to drop by today.
Today I’m sharing the last of the Thank You cards for the recent custom order I had for a friend.
The bride wanted a pink and gold colour theme for thank you cards for her mum and soon to be mother-in-law. Adding some glitter for a bit of sparkle I came up with this CAS floral card.
To create this card I decided to bunch the floral die cut elements together starting with a vellum leaf on the bottom. I then layered the flowers to the top before embellishing them with rhinestones and adding some pink glitter enamel dots to tie it all together.
I love how this card turned out and I hope the mums enjoy them!
Thank you for stopping by!
Happy Hump Day! Today I’m popping in to share a cute Thank You card I created for a recent custom order.
A friend recently got married this past week and she asked me to create some thank you cards for her bridesmaids, flower girls, her mum and her new mother-in-law. Today’s card is the Thank You card that I created for her cute little flower girls.
Knowing young girls love fairies, I knew I had to use the sweet Pixie Dust stamp set by Avery Elle for this card.
I teamed them up with some die cut glitter and foil flowers as well as a vellum leaf to tie all the accents together. I then embellished the card with some pink rock candy by Queen & Co.
I can’t wait to find out what the flower girls thought of these fairy cards!
Have a wonderful day and enjoy the sunshine!
And happy Tuesday! Today I thought I would pop in and share a card with you all that I created as a kind of thank you card for my mum.
Using the layout of my Rose Congratulations card I posed here, I decided to keep the style pretty much the same but just changed up the sentiment.
Again I used the fun Modern Blooms set by MFT Stamps for this card, together with the Wonky Stitched Circle Stax. For my sentiment though I used the Mum stamp by Skull & Cross Buns. It’s really hard to find some really good Mum stamps (as opposed to Mom) here so when I stumbled upon this store it definitely made my day! The font of it is gorgeous and it stamps beautifully. Be sure to check out their stamps. They are all handmade and gorgeous.
Anyway, after putting the card together, I finished it by embellishing it with some clear droplets and coloured sparklets for the flower centres.
I can’t wait to see mum’s reaction!
Thank you for stopping by and have a fabulous night!
I’m back again tonight with this week’s Taylored Expressions Share Joy Challenge.
This week we have a sketch and/or photo inspiration challenge for you all to play along with.
As you can see by my card below, I played along with the gorgeous inspiration photo for this week’s challenge. I absolutely love the colours of fall so knew I had to play along with the photo this week and create a fall themed thank you card using the gorgeous Fresh Florals stamp set.
To create my card I began by stamping my sentiment onto my card base before stamping and die cutting the flowers from the Fresh Florals set. The inks I used for them were Cherry Pop, Pumpkin and Candy Corn and they work together so beautifully. Next I arranged them around my sentiment using adhesive foam before finally finishing off the card with some sequins from the Wedding sequin mix.
Anyway, that’s all from me for today but be sure to stop by the challenge blog and check out some more gorgeous inspiration from the DT.
Have a wonderful night and happy crafting!
