Today I’m sharing with you all another card I created whilst away at the retreat two weeks ago.
I recently purchased the super fun Pegasus Duo stamp and die set by Avery Elle, that I just had to bring it with me and create something using those gorgeous Pegasus’!
I kept the card CAS and after stamping and die cutting out the Pegasus, I coloured its mane and tail in using three different light coloured Copic markers, to give it a pastel rainbow effect. I love how the colours worked together to create a fun whimsical effect to the Pegasus. I then added some shimmer to the wings and horn using a clear Wink of Stella maker, which you can see in the picture below.
I then added some die cut glitter clouds to my card, together with some rhinestone stars to finish off the magical feel of this card.
I absolutely love how this card turned out and I can’t wait to ink up that cute Pegasus again! Keep an eye out for it soon!
Have a wonderful night.
I hope you are all having a great week so far? I’m currently in Bright in Victoria on the other side of Australia at a card making retreat with some very nice and super talented card makers! We are having so much fun and creating lots of great cards which I will be sharing with you all soon!
I thought I would quickly pop in and share with you all a birthday card I created for one of my best friends, my cousin Debbie, who had her 40th birthday last week. I wanted to create something sweet and simple for her but also using celebratory colours like silver and gold so I decided on some heat embossed balloons.
I started off by stamping and heat embossing the balloons from the It’s Your Birthday stamp set by Clearly Besotted with gold and silver embossing powder, before die cutting them out and sticking them onto my card base. I then stamped on my sentiment and finished off the card by embellishing it with some silver and gold glitter enamel dots.
I would love to know what you think?
Anyway, I better get back to some more card making, but will be back soon to share those creations with you all.
Have a great night!
I hope you are enjoying the day so far. Today has been relatively quiet here, so I grabbed some time in the craft room this afternoon and created a few cards.
One of those is this fun CAS style card for a new baby.
Using the sweet Petite Plushies stamp set by Clearly Besotted Stamps, I stamped and paper pieced the cute little giraffe from the set before adhering it with adhesive foam to my card base. I then stamped the sentiment below the image and embellished the card with some matching coloured enamel dots and some rhinestone stars.
Definitely a super quick and fun card to create. Time for me to go and get some rest, but I’ll be back soon with another card to share.
Thanks for stopping by and have a great night!
I hope you have all had a lovely weekend so far. I got some more craft time in this weekend to create another Valentine’s Day card, this time using some sweet Simon Says Stamp products.
Using the super cute Heart Breeze die, I chose to die cut and in-lay it into my card base using red and silver foil cardstock.
Once I had all the elements inlaid into my card base, I then stamped my heart sentiment from the Heartfelt Notes stamp set in silver ink, before die cutting it using the matching die and adding it to my card. To finish off the card I added some matching coloured sequins for extra embellishment.
I hope this card inspires you today. Enjoy what’s left of your weekend and thank you for stopping by!
And Happy New Year to you all! Hopefully you all had a wonderful Christmas break and New Year’s celebration. I know this post is about 4 days late but this time of the year is always hectic for us! The girls had their 4th birthday just 3 days before Christmas, then Christmas itself, together with New Years, things have been pretty crazy around here for us, so I haven’t had much time to catch up on computer work! And then yesterday, my new gorgeous baby nephew was born! So it’s been busy and exciting times here!
Anyway, I put together a fun shaker card to wish you all a wonderful and happy new year, so here it is…
To create this card I started off by printing out the ‘new year’ part of my sentiment onto a piece of white cardstock, before die cutting the ‘happy’ sentiment from some gold foil and sticking it above. Next I die cut and assembled the champagne shaker glass using the Raise Your Glass die set by Taylored Expressions. I then filled the glass with sequins from the Wedding mix (also by Taylored Expressions), before sticking down a couple of loose sequins for extra embellishment.
Well, that’s all from me for today, but I hope you are all having a wonderful start to the year so far.
Thank you for stopping by and have a wonderful night!
