I hope you are enjoying the day so far. Today has been relatively quiet here, so I grabbed some time in the craft room this afternoon and created a few cards.
One of those is this fun CAS style card for a new baby.
Using the sweet Petite Plushies stamp set by Clearly Besotted Stamps, I stamped and paper pieced the cute little giraffe from the set before adhering it with adhesive foam to my card base. I then stamped the sentiment below the image and embellished the card with some matching coloured enamel dots and some rhinestone stars.
Definitely a super quick and fun card to create. Time for me to go and get some rest, but I’ll be back soon with another card to share.
Thanks for stopping by and have a great night!
Today is the day we have a new Share Joy Challenge by Taylored Expressions for you all to play along with!
This week we have a sketch and/or fun colour challenge for you all to play along with.
This week for my card, I chose to play along with the colour challenge and create a CAS card for a baby shower I have coming up.
To create this card I started off by stamping my sentiment for the In & Out Wedding stamp set, onto my card base. Next I die cut the Little Bits: Rocking Horse from some Granny Smith cardstock and some toffee coloured glitter cardstock. I then assembled the horse and stuck it down onto my card using adhesive foam. Finally I embellished the card with some sequins from the Rainbow Brights and Wedding Sequin Mixes. I also added two adhesive rhinestone hearts.
I hope this card inspires you to create along with us this week.
Thank you for stopping by and happy crafting!
How is your Tuesday going so far? We’ve been having a very sunny couple of winter days here this week, , so my girls have been spending as much time as they can outside riding their bikes and enjoying the weather before the rain comes for the rest of the week!
Anyway, today I have some sneak peeks to share with you of some cards I created for this month’s Splitcoaststampers Fan Club Gallery Challenge.
Being July, this month’s theme is a very patriotic This Land Is My Land one where we ask you to get crafty and create cards that remind you of your home or where you live etc.
For some more Dirty Girl inspiration to get you creating for this challenge, visit the gallery here, and play along!
Enjoy the rest of your day!
Hope you are all having a wonderful week so far? It’s time again for a new Share Joy Challenge by Taylored Expressions and this week we have a sketch and/or CAS challenge for you.
This week I played along with the CAS element of the challenge to create a card for a family member who just had a little baby boy recently.
Using the Stroke of Genius 2 stamp set I started off by stamping the large scribble onto my card base using the new Salt Water Taffy coloured ink by Taylored Expressions. Next I die cut the rocking horse from glitter cardstock before assembling it together and adhering it to the top of the scribble using adhesive foam. Finally I stamped on my sentiment below the scribble, then embellished the card with some sequins from the Build A Scene sequin mix.
I have to say the new inks by Taylored Expressions are awesome! They stamp so clearly and the colours are gorgeous!
I hope you get a chance to stop by the challenge blog and play along with us this week.
Have a great night and thank you for stopping by!
Hello and happy Thursday everyone!
I hope you are all having a great week so far? This week’s Taylored Expressions Share Joy Challenge is a sketch and/or clean and simple one.
Here is a look at the challenge graphic for this week:
For my card I used both the sketch and CAS style to create this baby card for a friend of mine using the new Baby Bottle Shaker die set.
To create the baby bottle, I just die cut it from some glitter cardstock before assembling it all together and adding a ribbon bow to the top. After sticking it down to my card base using adhesive foam, I then embellished it with some sequins from the Build a Scene sequin mix.
Thanks for stopping by today and have a wonderful night!
